SNOW

I GOT TO SEE SNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER TODAY!!!

so i get up at around 8ish in the morning, i go online as usual and i decide to check the weather forecast to see if it'd snow anytime soon. and on the weather page it says that it's currently snowing! the minute i see this i literally jump out of my seat and fling open the curtains and there right in front of me is snow!!! how awesome is that!!!
i must have sat there for like a good 15 minutes just staring at the falling snow. it wasn't heavy snow just really light tiny flakes that hit the ground and dissolved. i kind of took a video of it with my camera but it's not exactly super clear.
sadly it only lasted about an hour but seeing it snow was almost.... magical.

ps. next thing to do: touch snow for the first time.

first post from ireland!!!

i must say.. it's been quite a while since i last blogged. quite a bit has happened and like in the last month i've been from perth to singapore then back to perth and back to singapore yet again before flying off to dublin via amsterdam..

so basically i'm in dublin right now. i've officially started my medical degree and i'm in the middle of my 3rd week of college right now.

had a day off from lectures and stuff today so i lazed around in bed for a little while before heading off to the bank to collect my atm card. seriously i must have gone to the bank like 4 times because of that stupid card! my short experience with the bank here hasn't been all that wonderful and hopefully, fingers crossed, the card problem was the last of my troubles with the bank.. so anyways after i was walking back to mercer(the place where i'm currently living) when i passed topshop and i was like yeah why not? so i walked in and did a little look around and i found this section in the store for petite people! haha how funny is that.. and the best part was they carried size 4 stuff!! which meant that the clothes actually fit me! and well, as we all know, i am fantastic at shopping and picking out stuff i like.. only difference now was that the clothes i picked out fit me!!! anyways i ended up buying this really nice navy blue jacket with a hood.. a little piece of advice.. if you ever come to dublin bring either (i) an umbrella or (ii) something with a hood.. preferably both.. and well being the genuis that i am, i didn't bring either of those and after being drenched millions of times these past few weeks i figured time to get something to cover my head! so that worked out pretty nicely. plus because i'm a student i get a 10% discount storewide!! not bad for my first shopping trip in europe..

on my way back i popped into a bookshop to look for 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins.. this is a book i've been dying to get my hands on for like weeks!! turns out stores in dublin won't get the book till january!! kind of sucks but i'll get my hands on it eventually!!!

i'm trying to talk myself into studying.. doesn't seem to be working all that much.. seriously i have like no 'ability to study'.. can't remember what's the word for it but like i am the worst person to ask to sit down and do work.. actually work i can do.. it's the whole revising even when i have no tests thing that i can't do.. oh well we'll see how much i can get down today.. have to start thinking about what to cook for dinner tonight.. i'm thinking chilli chicken cause tt's pretty fast and easy to do..

oh btw.. the new twilight trailer came out and it's freaking amazing!! like words don't even begin to descirbe it and like i got up at 6.30am on friday morning just to watch it!! for me that's saying alot!!! but omg it's good!! i am soooo freaking excited about this movie! but the one thing twilight related that i absolutely MUST have it midnight sun!!! and like that's on hold indefinately so it's driving me insane!!!! ARGH!!! and plus people in the us get to watch it on like 21st of november and i have to wait like a whole month before i get to watch it!! knowing that's it out there but i can't watch it will be so unfair!

there's like this whole list of books that i really really want to read and most of them are like sequels and i seriously hate having to wait like years in between to find out what happens next.. if anyone knows any good books please let me know.. i currently am in between books and i really would like something to read.

oh the most random thing just occured to me, my milk expires today....

here's a picture from dublin.. it's me and daddy standing outside the side entrance to RCSI.. this is the technically the main entrance because it's how we get in and out but the main main entrance is wayy coooler....

beddy byes

as of right now, i have been up for 24.5hours with no naps in between! how awesome is that.. just don't tell my parents if you see them. anyways my clock had been turned upside down.. i think i was sleeping at like 5am and getting up at 6pm. so i figured why not just stay up one night and sleep early-ish the next. so... sticking to my awesome plan, i have been up since 6pm on saturday and it's now 6.35pm pn sunday..
considering how long i've been up you would think i've managed to get at least some of my super heavy work load done. but.. here's what i've done.. my chemistry quiz and a couple of stats questions. granted i did try quite a few stats questions but after a while i just couldn't be bothered plus i had like NO idea how to get the stupid answer.
anyways. only a week left till study break.. should be a breeze right? so not! here's what i have to get done in like a very short time:
- MBC lab quiz (due tues)
- MBC lecture 10-15 quiz (also due tues)
- HB essay (which i kind of sort of have to memorise cause it's an in-class one and all we get to bring in is our stupid bibliography) (due wed)
- STATs test (due thurs)
i haven't started work on any of the above and that really sucks! especially for stats.. the lecture notes i have to go through are like majorly confusing and like whenever we're given a question, the lecturer does not show the answer or the working! PLUS my stupid stupid stupid lectopia isn;t connecting!
urgh! i just got better from my like week long sickness and now i have a feeling i might relapse due to my wonderful procrastination skills! oh well..
i can't decide what to do first.. should start on something though....
ooh and my last complaint for today.. my msn isn't working! annyoing thing it always acts up! it'll let me sign in occasionally but then once i sign out i can't get back in for like days! sometimes even more than a week! horrifying isn't it?!
argh.. i am so craving home food right about now. need rice and chicken and soup and curry and fish and curry and chilli and curry!
ok i think my brain is officially starting to kick into it's "must sleep NOW!" phase (btw, my brain spends most of it's time ie. about 99.99% in this phase...)
i need sleep............................................................

the quote says it all

"Childhood is not from birth to a certain age and at a certain age,
The child is grown, and puts away childish things.
Childhood is the kingdom where nobody dies."

at random

- today i tried a new Nestea iced tea flavour: PEACH MANGO... pretty good
- wore 4 layers in 14degree weather with wind blowing at 22km/h
- first STAT lecture i go to, my lecturer explained to us the statistics problem in the beginning of the movie 21. coincidence? yes
- carried a cup of coffee and tea in freezing cold wind and tried not to spill any on myself or trip over my feet
- finished my small bar of toberone
- figured out i don't have to go all the way to claremont to pay uni fees
- for SCIE labs we are supposed to go to the hospital! how freaking awesome is that!
- 2 of my lecturers change slides too fast for me to write down any notes especially considering in one lecture we have no desks
- all i've eaten today is leftover pizza
- positive thoughts don't always work.. contrary to what my lovely mother thinks
- took 3 sweets from the sweet bowl in co-op... saw a guy try to grab a huge handful "stealthily"... as you can probably guess though.. it so wasn't
- i'm not blogging on my computer
- some guy just shouted "we have no alliance" in the halls
and last but not least
- today is..................................... the second last day of july......

You're the most important thing to me now.
The most important thing to me ever.

About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
